Skills of the Future - Tech & Digital and Soft Skills
It is imperative to provide the community with a set of skills that enable them to think, act, adapt, innovate and progress in an increasingly unstable and unpredictable world.
In addition to technical skills, soft skills are a differentiating factor in the job market and for personal and organizational transformation.
Working on the skills of the future, with reference to the skills identified by the World Economic Forum for 2025, was the motto for the development of a self-assessment model, which provides the opportunity to (re)discover the talent capital that exists in each person.
Resilience, creativity, analytical skills, problem-solving, innovation, active learning, leadership, the use of technology and programming are some of the most relevant skills for the future of work and, as such, they are deepened in environments of excellence, such as the Lisbon Entrepreneurship Week, where the Future of Work Initiative developed the Lisboa Talent Game, with the aim of:
- Provide an experience of self-discovery for each participant, so that they remain able to anticipate and/or adapt to new contexts and new demands
- Create and develop talent in Lisbon and promote better conditions for the future, bringing together the relevant players
This commitment began in 2020 with support for the Grow Using Applied Improv: The 5C Workshop initiative, which aimed to foster and strengthen key skills through the use of a differentiated, interactive and playful methodology based on Improvisation Theater.
