Future of Workspaces
The Future of Work Initiative works with and updates information on employment and employability and, specifically, on work in the future and how the city can evolve, anticipating needs arising from new ways of working and living.
Reflecting today on the direction the city should take according to trends in the world of work, technological advances and the multiple needs of different generations, companies and civil society is essential for defining more robust, comprehensive and inclusive future strategies.
The emerging questions are:
- What are the trends for the future of workspaces in Lisbon?
- How can Lisbon provide better workspaces?
- What opportunities are there to rethink the city model and the organization of public and work spaces?
- How can economic recovery be combined with well-being?
With this in mind, we are betting on partnerships to design desirable futures for the city's economy.
Projects and Partnerships
With the aim of reflecting on and debating the Future of Work and creating synergies that enhance the Municipality's intervention in this area, strategic partnerships have been consolidated for the conceptual project that began in 2021, from which the conclusions and recommendations of a group of city actors are derived.
