School libraries
Contribute to the training of competent and critical readers and the promotion of media and information literacy
The School Library Network program includes 98 libraries, from pre-school to secondary school.
It is a free service that aims to complement the student learning process, guaranteeing access to knowledge in various environments (classroom, home, library) and supporting teachers and educators in the application and development of curricula.
School libraries are playing an increasingly decisive role in schools, as educational spaces that integrate multiple literacies and play a decisive role in the education of the children and young people who use them.
