The "Study & Research in Lisbon" project is the result of a partnership between all the organizations in Lisbon that are interested in promoting, disseminating and consolidating the city's intellectual and scientific potential. The aim of this project is to bring together as many organizations as possible so that, through joint initiatives, they can publicize and promote the city's scientific and academic potential and institutions internationally, thus helping to attract talent, students and national and foreign researchers to Lisbon.
The city's potential for attraction as a knowledge and innovation hub also depends on a communication strategy that demonstrates to international students/researchers that Lisbon, in addition to having a fantastic climate, a magnificent landscape and an intense cultural and social life, has leading research centers and universities with an excellent reputation."
The Study & Research in Lisbon portal is one of the visible faces of the "Study & Research in Lisbon" structuring project. The portal is a platform that brings together information, partners and initiatives, with the aim of making the city known as a global hub in the fields of knowledge and innovation.
This platform includes public and private higher education institutions in Lisbon and other partners such as the Fulbright Commission, the Luso-American Development Foundation, the Jacques Delors European Information Center, the Erasmus Life Lisboa association and the Erasmus Student Network association, which contribute content.
As part of the Study & Research in Lisbon project, the municipality has a space, the STUDY & RESEARCH IN LISBON LOUNGE, which offers students a unique and distinctive welcoming experience. This Lounge is shared with partners in the Study & Research in Lisbon project, namely the Erasmus Associations. Located in the Entrecampos area, it benefits from the proximity of several universities, research centers, the national library and a good public transport network and offers a range of useful services for international students and researchers during their stay in the city.
The Lounge is a space where you can take part in workshops, lectures, Portuguese classes, board games and other activities.
