SEED

SEED - Raising Awareness of Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Lisbon City Council, within the scope of its powers and competencies in the social, educational and economic areas, develops projects and promotes programs that foster literacy and empower citizens, with a special focus on Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

The SEED project is an innovative initiative that awakens and boosts the entrepreneurial spirit among young people from grades 9 to 12, preparing them for the future by developing essential skills such as creativity, autonomy and teamwork. By bringing the school closer to the world of work, with a special focus on technological and creative areas, SEED transforms ideas into value for the community, promoting a more practical education in line with market demands.

SEED's six axes:

  • Living Lab - Support for the development of an entrepreneurship lab at school;

  • Exploring the ecosystem - Organizing study visits to inspiring companies and spaces, and activities with ecosystem partners in schools;

  • Financial literacy - Practical sessions to reinforce essential financial knowledge;

  • Support for the creation of projects - Guidance and support for students to develop and implement their ideas;

  • Self-knowledge and aspirations - Activities to explore young people's skills and interests;

  • Training experience - Immersion in the entrepreneurial ecosystem through practical experiences.

These actions are developed in cooperation with the project's partners, who contribute to the creation of dynamic activities inside and outside schools.
