Born in 1979. Started her professional career in the social area at 18 years of age, namely in community engagement projects, in the Loures Council and subsequently in Lisbon.

Has progressed in her political career mostly in Lisbon, as Municipal Councillor and Coordinator of local intervention projects, namely the Support Offices for the Priority Intervention Neighbourhoods (Gabinetes de Apoio aos Bairros de Intervenção Prioritária – GABIP) of Boavista, Padre Cruz and Alto da Eira.

Collaborated with Municipal Councillors Helena Roseta and Paula Marques in the launch of several municipal programmes in the areas of participation, social rights and housing. Occupied the position of Coordinator of the Housing Support Office at the National Immigrant Support Centre.

Member of the Governing Body of political association “Cidadãos Por Lisboa” (Citizens for Lisbon), a movement of which she was one of the founders in 2007. Holds a Degree in Translation from the University of Lisbon School of Languages and Literatures. Specialised technician in Accounting and Taxation. Currently attends the Finance Course at the University of Lisbon Higher Institute of Economics and Management.
