Fab Lab Lisboa
Founded in 2013 and operating at the Forno do Tijolo Market, the FabLab Lisboa focuses on digital manufacturing and prototyping. This initiative ultimately seeks to turn innovative ideas into reality, such as to allow the creation of new products and create value, foster employment and generate wealth for the city and the country.
The workshop is equipped with affordable, safe industrial equipment, such as small and large milling machines, laser cutting machines, vinyl cutting machines, as well as a 3D printer, an electronics workbench and computers with CAD and CAM software and other programming tools.
Offering equal access to all, the FabLab Lisboa seeks to encourage the sharing of knowledge and experiences and foster innovation, entrepreneurship, discovery and creativity, such as to promote the social and economic development of citizens and the community.
